Wingsuit diver dies

        A Hungarian wingsuit flier died following an accident during a jump into a gorge in central China.The body of Victor Kovats was recovered Wednesday from the steep, forested valley floor at Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park in Hunan province.A wingsuit is an aerodynamic jumpsuit that allows the wearer to soar for long distances before opening a parachute.

Clowney Clowned

             Jadeveon Clowney, the South Carolina defensive end who's expected to go first-overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, is in the middle of a big, dumb controversy. It's all because of one reckless quote from his coach Steve Spurrier. Clowney missed the game on saturday because of sprained ribs, but coach was not aware untill minutes before kickoff.
                
            This is what coach said "If he wants to play, we'll welcome him to come play for the team if he wants to. But if he doesn't want to play, he doesn't have to. Simple as that."

         The NFL is filled with some of the most hardest hitting people in the world.These players have serious neurological problems from concussions they got playing the game. Raptor down

           The Raptor, the gold standard for mascots in professional sports, tore his achilles this week while performing at a school assembly. It appears it came when the Raptor attempted a backflip.

Like a true professional, he finished the sequence and shook a little kid's hand before limping off.

        

               This was a very professional move by the mascot by not showing the kids he got hurt in any way, even though they probably heard the snap. He gave a kid a high five and limped off the stage.

Rob Gronkowski

             New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has yet to play in 2013 after having four surgeries on his broken forearm in a seven-month period.According to a report from Mike Petraglia of WEEI, the entire thing could have avoided if the team let the break heal on its own.

            Gronk, as i like to call him is one of my favorite tight ends in the ame, behind tony gonzalez, and jimmy graham. This is a huge let down for new england especially because its their fault

Paris stuck up

                       Paris Hilton after a 3 minute interview thought she was off the air when she made vulgar statements about her interviewer complaining about how she wasnt even asked about her latest song 'good time', and instead was asked about her controversial sex-tape.

Robot Cat

           Wild Cat is a four legged robot being developed to run fast on all types of terrain. So far WildCat has run at about 16 mph on flat terrain using bounding and galloping gaits.Humans average about 5 miles per hour running, with bursts between 12 and 15 miles per hour.

 If you watch the video it shows just how amazing technology has come to reanacting some of natures greatest marvels. One day this thing will probably go very fast, maybe not as fast as there real cat counterparts but you get the idea.

Got Milk??

      Portia, a cow at Tufts university has been living with a large hole in her stomach since 2002. Its not deadly. The hole was put there on purpose so scientists can study her digestive system. Portia is whats called a fistulated cow. A fistula, or opening, is cut into the side of a cow during the surgery.

         

        

The window is plugged with a plastic cup, which scientists take off when they need to reach into the cows stomach. The rumen where the opening is made is the largest compartment and contains all of the good bugs and bacteria needed to digest food.

Cricket Fighting Season

         In Beijing, autumn marks cricket fighting season, a traditional chinese sport with more than 1000 years of history. The contestants put two crickets into a ring the size of a shoebox to determine which is the more aggressive.

More than 20 teams from across china competed in the two-day National Cricket Fighting Championships. A 40 year cricket fighter and truck driver says he admires them because they never admit defeat and have a fighting spirit.

Nutella Healthy?

             Nutella is said to imply that the 94 hazelnuts in each jar of nutella makes it healthy for people. Studies show there maximum amounts of sugar negates the 94 hazelnuts in each jar.




               

                Yoni Freenoff, a Canadian doctor and professor at the University of Ottowa points out that two tablespoons of Nutella(the amount to fill a slice of toast) has as much sugar as FIVE oreo cookies.
