Working on X-ray vision

Dina Katabi, a 42-year-old professor of computer science and electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is working on a way to use Wi-Fi radio signals to track people through walls, similar to X-ray vision. The signals traverse through walls and obstacles and reflect off a human body. She was one of the 24 recipients of the MacArthur Fellow, AKA the Genius Awards.\

To me this is a big step in technology. They say they cant see the silhouette of a person, but they see them like a blob, which they can use to trace how the person is moving behind a wall. This will expand ways to find hidden people or for reconnaissance.

The Grizzly Polar Hyprid Bear

In 2006, a white bear with brown spots of fur, was shot by Arctic Hunters. It is believed to be a Grizzly-Polar Bear mix. The increased hybrids is a clear indication that the climate is changing. As ice continues to melt, different species of animals are trapped within a certain area, which causes them to breed with the nearby wildlife.

Hybrids are born infertile so this raises alarms of their species being extict because they cannot mate with their own species.

McDonalds Chicken and Waffles??

Mcdonald's is launching a new combo meal that includes their classic mcgrittle pancakes and a side of hot syrup. They are playing of their new 'Mighty Wings' campaign that includes there new wings.

I think this is a great addition to the Mcdonalds menu and will lighten my

day when it comes to georgia.

Brittney on COKE!!! (a cola)

Brittney Spears in 2001 dealed with pepsi and made a WHOPPING $8 million dollars from endorsements.
Now shes investing that same money in rival and clearly better brand coke-a-cola.

"Britney sold 574 shares of Coke for a modest profit of $3,238.55. She held on to 208 shares," reports TMZ. "As for Pepsi ... it's nowhere to be found in her portfolio".

In my opinion this was a bold, brave move for her that will eventually turn in her favor since coke has spread more rapidly than pepsi. And since she is investiing all this money, she seems to know what the smart decision is.

Uppercuts on the field??

At the end of a Clemson game offensive tackle Isaiah Battle lost it and hit and opponent in the face with a winding uppercut that roared through his helmet. He was immediately ejected. His temper flared up because of the loss and decided to take it out on an us-suspecting opponent.

I think no man, let alone college player with as much respect he should have for the game and the other players, should steep as low as to SOCK a person right in the kisser.

Trent Richardsons bizzare findings

Trent Richardson (ex-cleveland brown) found out he got traded via radio.

"One of my friends called me he was like 'You got traded.' I was like ‘Man, shut up talking to me get off my phone,’” he said. “I turned on the radio and all of a sudden I heard Cleveland Browns running back has been traded."
“It just hit me in my face,” he said. “I didn’t see it coming.”

The Cleveland Browns did him dirty by not letting him know personally. I would be utterly shocked and dissappointed if i heard this news on the radio.

New Squid Camo being looked at

Squids have an amazing power to change color and even texture in a hostile environment to protect itself from predators. Harnessing the squid's ability to change its skin could lead to better camoflage  for soldiers, according to new research from the University of California, Irvine.

The military has been interested in harnessing the squid's stealth powers for a while. The office of Naval Research has granted millions of dollars to nanotechnologists and marine biologists from various institutions to research squid-inspired camouflage since 2009

Blaine Gabberts Blown game

In Blaine Gabberts week 1 game against the kansas city chiefs, he had the worst game of his career, going 15-35 for 121 yrds and throwing 2 interceptions. This was one of the worst performances by a quarterback in NFL history.
It was the 18th worst game ever, and the 3rd worst game by a quarterback in the last seven years, based on Football Outsiders' DYAR stat.In Gabbert's defense, he had an injured hand and tried to play through it for three quarters. He also doesn't have a ton of playmakers around him and his offensive line is bad.

Nymi, changes the way you unlock your electronics

Toronto-based startup Bionym launched a wristband that will unlock your devices based on your heartbeat.
Heartbeats, like fingerprints, are unique to every individual.
The people at bionym designed it so when you
wear the wristband, called Nymi, and an embedded electrocardiogram sensor recognizes your heartwaves and auto-authenticates all of your devices.  No more memorizing passwords because you are the password.
